These community food pantry and school supply cupboards were created for my Girl Scout Gold Award Project, and these cupboards will be placed throughout the Menomonee Falls Community. These cupboards were created to help address the root causes of poverty, hunger, and the inability to purchase school supplies, and to also help my community learn more about the importance of giving to those in need. Not only is this an issue during these unprecedented times, but the need for food and school supplies is always and will always be there. If you want to find out more about the Girl Scout Gold Award, or my project, please visit the About page.
Each of the eight cupboards will be placed throughout the community of Menomonee Falls, in locations such as near the elementary schools, and other public, and easily accessible places. As part of a Girl Scout Gold Award Project, the project must be sustainable, and that is where the community plays a big role in it. It is the community's job to give back to those in need, and one way that can be done is by donating to the cupboards within the community of Menomonee Falls. Please visit the Locations page to find out more about where the cupboards are located. ONE FOOD PANTRY CUPBOARDS IS UP AND READY FOR USE!
